Pipe turbines, hydraulic steering, trailing excavators, water turbines and generators

The Interreg Aquatic Plastic project team wants to involve hydropower in the fight against river pollution. Hydropower plants and dams, by their very nature, stop waste and create opportunities for mitigation. This, of course, imposes additional tasks and costs on the operator. Middle Tisza District Water Directorate and MVM Hydroelectric Power Plant Ltd. have been among the first to deal with this in Kisköre, so the knowledge accumulated here can help many others internationally. In the AQPLA project, the Plastic Cup Society, the KSZGYSZ - Hungarian Association of Environmental Enterprises and the Multisalva Association are managing this task and a site visit and project coordination took place at the Kisköre HPP. On behalf of MVM Hydroelectric Power Plant Ltd., we thank Sándor Bereczkei, Managing Director, and Sándor Lovász, Power Plant Manager, for the whole day of professional discussions. We will continue soon!
