BrAIn Project Milestone: Partners Collaborate in Pilsen to Push Boundaries in Innovation

Pilsen, Czech Republic – September 9-11, 2024 – The BrAIn project partners gathered in Pilsen for a series of impactful discussions and workshops, hosted by the XR Institute. The event brought together industry experts, researchers, and stakeholders to explore innovative solutions across the agro-food, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors. 

The primary focus was on discussing future demo cases for the application of AI in the manufacturing, healthcare, and agrifood sectors. In collaboration with the University of Belgrade's School of Electrical Engineering, Pannon Business Network, ITC - Innovation Technology Cluster, and other project partners, the team elaborated on the details of their technology showcases.

The meeting took place at the TechTower SeedUp Space, which provided a superb venue for the event. Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the facilities and gain insight into ongoing projects.

Event Highlights:

  • Sector-Specific Innovation: Over two days, participants engaged in sessions aimed at addressing key challenges within their respective sectors.
  • Demo Cases: The event showcased several demo cases that highlighted real-world applications of emerging technologies. These demonstrations illustrated the potential of AI and automation in transforming industries and improving societal outcomes.
  • Live Demonstration – Social Humanoid Robot: A notable feature of the event was a live demonstration of a social humanoid robot presented by the Lead partner of the Project - Pannon Business Network (PBN). This advanced technology, designed for human interaction, underscored the growing role of robotics in both healthcare and service industries.
