5th Partners meeting & Final conference

The final partners meeting and Final Conference of the COMMHERITOUR project took place from 11 to 13 May 2026 in Jászberény, Hungary, hosted by the Municipality of Jászberény.

The programme brought together project partners, associated strategic partners, local stakeholders and experts to reflect on the project’s results, discuss the final implementation steps and share experiences from pilot activities focused on heritage craft valorisation across the Danube Region.

During the partners meeting, participants reviewed management, administrative and financial matters, discussed the Joint HCV Strategy and Action Plan, and exchanged experiences related to local pilot actions, communication activities and the HeriCraftMarket platform. The meeting also included visits to local cultural and creative spaces, including the Town Hall, Jász Museum and Roomli creative hub.

An important part of the programme was the opening of the COMMHERITOUR thematic exhibition, presenting selected outputs and craft-related stories from the project regions. The exhibition highlighted the diversity of traditional crafts and their potential for tourism, community development and creative entrepreneurship.

The Final Conference introduced the main COMMHERITOUR activities, results and sustainability perspectives. Partners presented selected local pilots from Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia and Hungary, followed by a panel discussion on heritage valorisation, local networks and the role of craft heritage as an economic resource in the age of AI.

The event concluded with thematic presentations on heritage-based cultural attractions, community-based branding and the connection between traditional crafts and modern design, marking the final stage of the COMMHERITOUR project and opening space for further cooperation in the Danube Region.
