2nd Partners meeting & Transnational workshop | November 2024

The COMMHERITOUR second Partners meeting and Transnational workshop took place from 19th to 21st November 2024 in beautiful Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hosted by the Tourist Board of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, this three-day event brought all the project partners together for the second time.

The first day of the meeting started with a series of presentations focused on project management and communication. The afternoon part of the day was more thematic, with an interactive session and workshop on further development of the project activities. Within the first workshop, the gaps, problems, and missed potentials identified on the partner and partnership level in relation to Specific Objective 1 were discussed. At the end of the day, a session focusing on action planning and pilot actions took place, where participants shared their intentions on how to approach the task.

The second day was all about a practical study visit. Together we traveled from Mostar to Konjic, where project partner Rukotvorine is located. We have visited their museum/shop and also their factory. Rukorvorine creates hand-crafted furniture from wood under the brand ZANAT. Zanat is a designer furniture and accessories brand, founded upon a century-old family tradition of making heirloom quality hand-carved furniture and accessories. On the third day project partners engaged in a workshop focusing on gaps, problems, and missed potential identified during the surveying and reports preparation. A consumer attitude survey was discussed as well as preparations for the Strategy and Action planning, that will take place at the beginning of 2025.
