Final Knowledge Sharing event in Jászberény
As the COMMHERITOUR project approaches its final phase, closing events are being organized across all eight partner regions, representing eight partner countries. In Jászberény (HU), a local final knowledge sharing event took place on March 11, 2026, following the municipal council meeting, where project experts delivered a comprehensive one-hour briefing on the international initiative and its local relevance.
Zsuzsanna Földi, professional coordinator of the project, presented an overview of COMMHERITOUR main objectives, key activities, and its achievements at both international and regional levels. This was followed by Edit Konok, an expert, who introduced the key elements of the local action plan (LAP), focusing on the economic and tourism-based valorization of cultural heritage. Beáta Gál-Dobos, cultural intendant, then showcased the most notable and visually engaging results of the local pilot project (a collection of heritage-based design outfits and a trademark design).
The presentation was attended by several members of the municipal council and senior staff of the Mayor’s Office, all of whom showed strong interest in both the implementation process and the outcomes achieved so far.
The project coordinator also outlined the next steps in the registration process of the so-called ALANI local product trademark. The trademark—presented by Beáta Gál-Dobos—was developed within the framework of the pilot project as a result of an open call. The role of the municipality in supporting this process was also highlighted.
The local closing event also provided an opportunity for project experts to invite council members to the main final events of the COMMHERITOUR project, which will take place in Jászberény on April 3, 2026 (City Day), and between May 11–13, 2026, the international final event.
