Digital redness analysis
The project partner STRIA, together with its Slovak partner and joint solution provider SOVA Group, is successfully implementing a joint solution aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The initiative focuses on an inline technology-readiness assessment methodology —a structured approach that helps companies evaluate their current digital maturity, identify gaps, and plan targeted improvements to strengthen their competitiveness within cross-border value chains.
As part of the subsequent implementation phase, Hungarian SMEs will be actively involved in applying the joint methodology and testing the developed tools. The partnership has been continuously supported by a series of online and offline consultations, with the most recent session held on 3 October 2025, dedicated to preparing the detailed launch phase.
A major achievement of the collaboration is the full development of the DRA AI solution (Digital Readiness Analysis with AI-based evaluation). In Slovakia, two pilot digital readiness assessments have already been conducted for SMEs — both yielding very positive feedback.
The first company has started its digitalization process based on the recommendations and decided to continue commercial cooperation with the project team.
The second company is independently implementing its digitalization process, following the provided guidance.
To promote this innovative service, a marketing campaign targeting Slovak SMEs has been launched, generating significant interest. Based on current demand, the team expects to complete up to 20 digital readiness assessments by the end of the project.
Importantly, the service will continue to operate and be further developed even after the completion of the DanubeDNA project, ensuring long-term sustainability and impact.
The partnership is currently finalizing the project deliverable “DanubeDNA_A2.3_Technical Manual of the Joint Solution”.
This joint effort by STRIA and SOVA Group demonstrates how cross-border cooperation and AI-driven innovation can empower SMEs to embrace digital transformation and remain competitive in the evolving European market.
