Registration is now open for the Danube Water Balance Final Conference

We are pleased to invite you to the Final Conference of the Danube Water Balance Project, which will take place on 22–23 September 2026 at the Putnik Inn Hotel, Belgrade, Serbia.

The conference will bring together water management authorities, researchers, policy makers and stakeholders from across the Danube Region to present the project's main achievements and discuss the future of transboundary water balance management.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the project's key results, including the development of the Danube-wide Water Balance Model, the Community Water Model (CWatM) applications, the WebGIS platform, climate change impact assessments, pilot basin experiences, and the project's recommendations for future water resources management in the Danube River Basin.

The event will also provide an excellent opportunity for networking, exchanging experiences and exploring future cooperation among organisations working in integrated water management and climate adaptation.
