Progress Update: Online events during first project period

Following the successful kick-off event in Bled, Slovenia, during the first project period a series of online events was organised focused on Activity 1.1: Inventory Report of Natural and Cultural Assets of Forests and Wood and Touristic Infrastructure with Baseline Standards/Recommendations.

These online sessions aim to help in producing two key deliverables:

  1. Inventory Database: This database will compile the results of evaluations and research, making them accessible to all partners.
  2. Natural and Cultural Assets Map: A digital map with several thematic layers will make the results easily visible. By combining layers, cross-links and gaps can be identified, contributing to the visualization of the Danube Wood(s) Route.

During the meetings, participants discussed the selection criteria for items to be included in the database, as well as technical aspects such as content structure, guidelines for uploading content, and required elements. These discussions are crucial in ensuring that the inventory report and map are comprehensive and user-friendly.
