We kindly invite you to take part in the very first online conference of the Remote Workers Policy Hub (RWPH) — a transnational knowledge platform established within the Danube4Rural.com project to support evidence-based policymaking for remote work in rural areas of the Danube Region.

RWPH brings together experts, regional authorities, national ministries, innovation hubs and stakeholders from civil society, with one common objective: to develop better policy conditions that make rural areas attractive places to live and work — also for remote workers and digital professionals.

What to expect?

During the conference, you will learn:

• Overview of the Danube4Rural.com project and the role of the Policy Hub
• Expert inputs from three thematic areas that matter most for remote work policy in rural Europe:

  • 🏡 Quality of Life – services, housing, mobility, wellbeing

  • 💶 Financial Incentives – taxation, grants, support schemes

  • ⚖️ Regulatory Framework – legal conditions, cross-border issues
Round table discussion: How can rural areas actively attract remote workers?
    • Interactive Q&A session with speakers and Policy Hub experts

Practical information

The conference will be held in English via MS Teams.
Participation is free of charge, however registration is mandatory.
