DanubeDay 2024 at Nationalpark Donauauen

On the 17th of June, DanubeDay took place at Nationalpark Donauauen, organised by the ICPDR.

DanubeSediment_Q2 was very happy to have the opportunity to share a stand with the WILDisland project, coordinated by Danubeparks, as well as the DANUBE4all Project.

On a beautifully sunny day, we demonstrated how to study sediment composition and the transport in the Danube to around 330 school children. The children were enthusiastic to see how these experiments were done and joined in enthusiastically.

By the way, it was the 20th anniversary of this event. We would like to congratulate the ICPDR to this great event!
