DanubeSediment_Q2 Kick-off

In March 2024 participants from research, governmental institutions, water management, hydropower operators and NGOs met at the BOKU University Riverlab to kick-off the project DanubeSediment_Q2, an Interreg Danube Region Programme project co-funded by the European Union.

DanubeSediment_Q2 started in January 2024 and aims to improve the management of sediment quantity and quality in the Danube River Basin.
We will recommend concrete solutions and upscaling options to be taken up by ICPDR in the next Danube River Basin Management Plan as well as Flood Risk Management Plan.
