Workshop: Introduction to the Circular Economy - Business Models for a Sustainable Future

Join us for an interactive workshop dedicated to the circular economy and tools that can contribute to the development of sustainable business models. Participants will gain insights into the tangible benefits the circular economy brings to the economy, society, and the environment, explore good practice examples, and reflect on how these experiences can be applied in their own professional contexts.

Special attention will be given to tools developed within the DECIDE project, allowing participants to become more familiar with their potential application and consider how they might prove useful in their work. The workshop also provides a space for exchanging ideas and experiences among participants, fostering opportunities for new partnerships and inspiration for future projects.

What to expect:

  • Introduction to the circular economy: its importance for the economy, society, and the environment; key principles and differences compared to the linear model.

  • Good practice examples: concrete circular business models and the role of policies and institutional support.

  • DECIDE project tools: practical methods and resources with potential for professional use.
