1st Stakeholder meeting held in Germany by CoWorkLand

The first German stakeholder network meeting brought together 17 motivated and competent stakeholders from diverse sectors – organizations and associations, companies, foundations, universities, and municipalities. Thank you to everyone who attended the premiere!

We achieved an important step in the ELEVATE project (https://coworkland.de/de/elevate) on September 19th: The first German stakeholder network meeting brought together 17 motivated and competent stakeholders from diverse sectors – organizations and associations, companies, foundations, universities, and municipalities. Thank you to everyone who attended the premiere!

CoWorkLand e.G. is one of 17 international project partners in the ELEVATE project, which runs from April 2025 to March 2028 as part of the Interreg Danube Region Programme. This project aims to strengthen cooperation between the public, civil society, and business sectors to create an inclusive governance model for territorial development in the Danube region. A key focus is the active involvement of older people (60+) and people with disabilities, especially in rural and underserved areas, in the development of inclusive and sustainable solutions for local communities.

The project is being implemented at CoWorkLand under the leadership of the Bavarian regional office. We are researching and testing with network partners how to enable and facilitate the caregiving involvement of working people locally – family members and volunteers – through, for example, working close to home or the sustainable operation of innovative value-added spaces (e.g., for community, work, exchange, and continuing education, etc.).

The first stakeholder network meeting primarily served to familiarize the network partners and sharpen a shared understanding of the project. Future collaboration within the network and next steps were also discussed. As an international guest, Damjana Pangerčič introduced the Slovenian ELEVATE project partner ISG Amabilis/Silway, which organizes events for seniors in the regions and reports on the participants' engagement on social media.

We are continuing to develop and expand the stakeholder network. Interested parties should contact the CoWorkLand project manager, Hans-Peter Sander (hans-peter@coworkland.de).
