1st Stakeholder meeting held in Hungary by Tájkapocs Foundation
On September 12, 2025, Tájkapocs Foundation organized the ELEVATE project workshop in Sümeg, where young people, mayors, and civil society representatives worked together in a collaborative setting. This date marked another milestone in the Elevate project (Interreg Danube Region Programme), which aims to connect local youth with vulnerable social groups (such as the elderly, people with disabilities, etc.). The workshop brought together young participants, mayors, cultural organizers, representatives of civil organizations, and experts.
The professional event aimed to familiarize participants with the project and its goals, while also allowing the Hungarian partner, Táj-kapocs Foundation, to gather as much professional input as possible regarding the target groups and potentially involved organizations.
After sharing local experiences, we also took a brief look beyond our borders: a best practice example from a Bulgarian region facing demographic challenges was presented, where tangible results have already been achieved in terms of intergenerational cooperation.
The project’s goal is to build upon the work already started with local youth and expand it by fostering intergenerational collaboration. Through shared experiences and cooperation between generations, we aim to create mutual value and promote the development of a more inclusive local society.
