On October 31, 2025, Municipality of Irig (PP6) organized a stakeholder meeting within the ELEVATE project at the Secondary School “Borislav Mihajlović Mihiz” in Irig. The event gathered representatives of local institutions, civil society organizations, associations, and community members, with the aim of presenting the project and identifying local needs for the development of pilot activities.

The meeting included a presentation of the ELEVATE project objectives, planned activities, and expected results, with a focus on improving the quality of life of older people and persons with disabilities through inclusive and intergenerational approaches.

Participants introduced their organizations and actively contributed to the discussion by sharing experiences and identifying key challenges, such as social isolation of older people, lack of structured activities, and limited availability of services for persons with disabilities. The importance of strengthening cooperation among local stakeholders was also emphasized.

Based on the discussion, initial directions for pilot activities were defined, including workshops, educational and social programmes, and the development of accessible and inclusive community spaces.

The meeting confirmed strong interest and commitment of local stakeholders, and the collected inputs will be further integrated into the development of the Pilot Action.

The event was conducted in a constructive and collaborative atmosphere, providing a solid foundation for the further implementation of the ELEVATE project.
