Successful Joint Sampling Training Workshop on Microplastics in Drinking Water held in Hungary

On October 9th, 2024, the MicroDrink project partner Eurofins together with their Associated Strategic Partner Fejérvíz ZRt., and supported by the Lead partner Croatian Geological Survey, hosted a successful international training workshop on microplastics sampling in drinking water in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, gathering nearly 50 participants. During the event, the representatives of Fejérvíz ZRt. presented their waterworks facility and Hungarian pilot action area, while Eurofins provided an overview of Specific objective 2 of the MicroDrink project: “Occurrence of microplastics in the water environment used for drinking water supply”. They also screened a video detailing microplastic sampling guidelines.
