3rd Stuttgart NONA Investment Forum "Denkwerkstatt Bad Cannstatt", April 27, 2026

On 27 April 2026, the Stuttgart Region pilot area hosted the Denkwerkstatt Bad Cannstatt - a focused working session held at the premises of MAHLE GmbH and organised in the framework of the NONA project in partnership with Verband Region Stuttgart and the NEBoD (NEB Lab: New European Bauhaus on the Danube).

The event brought together local authorities, industrial partners, viticulturists, community representatives, and youth organisations active in the Bad Cannstatt pilot area. Convened under the guiding question of how to collectively and proactively plan for the future of spaces in the region, the session centred on identifying scalable solutions, including holistic retention systems and innovative governance models capable of advancing a water-sensitive urban future for Stuttgart.

By aligning technical, ecological, economic, and social priorities, participants worked to translate shared challenges into practical action pathways and collective opportunities for sustainable development.
