Seminar on Public Administration and Services (Budapest, Hungary)

On October 9, 2024, the second event in the innovation ecosystem building workshop series of the PilotInnCities project, part of the EU Interreg Danube Regional Programme “Governance, Public Services,” took place at the NTP headquarters. Organized by Neumann Nltd. and HROD.net Community Development Nonprofit Ltd., the event focused on the role and potential of innovation in developing local and territorial public services.

A diverse group of representatives from the professional ecosystem—including central public administration, local government, leading civil society experts, and businesses—presented their strategies, research and development activities, relevant projects, and national and international initiatives.

In addition to the presentations, a round table discussion provided an opportunity for exchanging views and ideas on the theme, fostering a lively professional dialogue.

Participants unanimously agreed on the key role of local partnership development in achieving meaningful and sustainable success. This approach allows local and regional innovation to be applied practically and effectively. Furthermore, data-driven strategy making and structured, locally driven development, including Living Labs, are crucial.
