National Workshop (Belgrade, Serbia)

Digital Initiative Serbia organized a national workshop in the Republic of Serbia to introduce the PilotInn Cities project to diverse stakeholders. The workshop aimed to:

  • Present the PilotInn Cities project and its key concepts (e.g., agile piloting, smart cities).

  • Engage various stakeholders in the project.

  • Disseminate project information to potential collaborators in Serbia.

Content:

Ana Čarapina, the project manager, began the workshop by presenting:

  • An overview of the PilotInn Cities project.

  • The program's main priorities.

  • Key project activities.

  • The project timeline.

The latter part of the presentation focused on:

  • Opportunities for stakeholder participation in the project.

  • The concept of smart cities in Serbia.

  • Challenges faced by smart city innovations in Serbia.

  • The competition for pilot projects.

  • Networking opportunities.

Furthermore, the workshop explored the concepts of:

  • Quadruple helix.

  • Innovation ecosystems.

  • Agile pilots.

  • Living labs.

This revised version aims to:

  • Improve clarity and conciseness: By using more direct and precise language.

  • Enhance readability: By using shorter sentences and avoiding jargon where possible.

  • Maintain professionalism: By ensuring a formal and professional tone.
