The action plan for the adoption of the agile piloting methodology will be delivered as an ultimate output that will pave the way for the incorporation of agile piloting into Smart City innovation ecosystems on a program basis. The existence of the action plan will make the process tangible for relevant public authorities, especially national a regional governments, and enable them to navigate and manage the complex interactions in the quadruple helix – otherwise a serious obstacle. The selection of project partners and activities assures a high engagement of potential adopters throughout and after the project. Some are already involved as project partners or associated strategic partners, other are targeted by mapping and networking activities throughout the project. Moreover, the project will increase the awareness of agile piloting and its benefits among a wide spectrum of stakeholders, and thus further facilitate or even create pressure on the adoption. Low costs combined with the applicability of the model on various levels also increase the probability for success.
