PilotInnCities First Year Review (Bratislava, Slovakia)

The PilotInnCities project recently reached a significant milestone with its First-Year Review meeting, held at the renowned Hotel Bôrik in Bratislava, Slovakia 🇸🇰—a prestigious venue historically visited by distinguished guests, including the British Queen 👑.

This essential evaluation, conducted jointly with representatives from the Managing Authority of the Interreg Danube Region Programme, provided a crucial checkpoint to assess our project's progress, outcomes, and future directions.

We deeply appreciate the recognition and continuous support from the EU level 🇪🇺, highlighting the strategic importance of our initiative within the broader context of Interreg Danube's mission to foster regional innovation and cooperation. Special thanks go to Katalin Kovacs-Kasza and Mihajlo Cicmilovic 🙌 for their invaluable contributions and commitment.

This evaluation marked not only a review of achievements but also set the stage for an exciting next step: the launch of the first-ever Danubian #OpenCall, targeting innovative #SmartCity agile pilots. The call, open across the six partner countries of our consortium—Czech Republic 🇨🇿, Germany 🇩🇪, Hungary 🇭🇺, Romania 🇷🇴, Serbia 🇷🇸, and Slovakia 🇸🇰—offers urban innovators a unique opportunity to implement and secure funding for pioneering projects, driving smart transformation in cities throughout the region.
