Consortium Participation on Smart City Expo

If you take #SmartCities seriously, you absolutely need to be at #SCEWC in Barcelona! That's exactly what our consortium had in mind when planning our latest meeting. Our main goal 🎯: to engage international stakeholders before launching our open competition in early 2025, which will award up to 400,000 EUR for agile-piloting budgets to promising innovators 💡 to test their solutions in real urban environments 🏙️ in CZ, SK, HU, RS, RO, and DE.

Fifteen members of our team spread the word over three days. Our main event, the Espresso Tonic ☕🍹 Piloting Brunch in the Czech pavilion, laid the foundation for a unique all-European synergy between the Interreg Danube Region Programme and Programme Horizon Europe. This synergy is built on dialogue and exchange between PilotInnCities and CommuniCity. Witnessing #agilepiloting become a key driver in urban transformation and a mortar 🧱 to unify fragmented pieces of the #quadruplehelix in various European countries gives us high hopes for the future.
