Open Call for Bloggers: Explore the Roman Emperors & Danube Wine Route through green travel itineraries

The #RomansWineDanube project is pleased to announce the launch of its Open Call for Bloggers and Digital Creators within the framework of Activity 3.3 – Collaborative Digital Awareness Raising Campaign.

We are inviting storytellers to take part in a curated, cross-border cultural journey along the Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route, where Roman heritage, wine traditions, and sustainable travel come together in a unique experience.

A JOURNEY THROUGH CULTURE, WINE AND SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY

Selected creators will participate in a minimum five-day green travel itinerary designed by project partners. These itineraries integrate:

  • Roman heritage sites and cultural landscapes

  • Local wine and gastronomy experiences

  • Encounters with local communities and stakeholders

  • Sustainable mobility solutions such as train travel, cycling, walking, and other low-impact options

The blogger trips are not only promotional visits, they are experiential testing opportunities. Participants will explore, assess, and interpret the developed green travel products, providing valuable feedback while creating authentic digital content for their audiences.

Applicants will be able to indicate their preferred itinerary among the following routes:

Pannonian Colors

Ptuj (Slovenia) – Osijek (Croatia) – Pécs (Hungary) – Sremska Mitrovica (Serbia)
