RurALL consortium meeting in Prijedor
The fourth live meeting of the RurALL Consortium took place in the city of Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 30 September to 2 October 2025. Hosted by the Development Agency “PREDA,” the event brought together project partners to exchange ideas, review project progress, and plan upcoming activities.
The meeting combined workshops, site visits, and networking opportunities, all designed to strengthen collaboration and support the project’s shared goal: promoting smart, sustainable, and inclusive rural development across partner regions.
Throughout the two working days, a series of workshops, presentations, and interactive discussions took place at the PREDA Development Agency.
The first sessions focused on community engagement and project design, led by PP2 (ZSI), PP13 (Zavod PIP), and the Lead Partner (Beltinci). Partners discussed methods for involving residents and local stakeholders in pilot activities and refining project designs to better address local needs.
A highlight of the first working day was the site visit to the Smart Village Knežica and the pilot vineyard. Participants had the chance to see practical examples of innovation in rural areas, including digital tools, sustainable tourism initiatives, and community-driven projects. The visit demonstrated how local cooperation can translate into tangible improvements for rural communities.
Another key part of the agenda was the workshop on business model development, coordinated by PP11 (BICC Sandanski) and PP14 (MOBA). This session helped partners explore how local initiatives could evolve into sustainable enterprises that continue beyond the project’s duration.
The consortium also discussed networking and project synergies under the New European Bauhaus (NEB) framework. Presentations by Prof. Dr. Malina Čvoro, Prof. Dr. Tijana Vujičić, and Mr. Boro Marić showcased creative approaches to rural revitalization, design, and storytelling. Their contributions highlighted the importance of linking data, design, and local identity in communicating RurALL’s results.
Later sessions focused on developing the Multi-Stakeholder Governance Model (MSGM) and the online manual, facilitated by PP12 (EMFIE). These tools aim to strengthen collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and long-term accessibility of project outcomes.
The meeting concluded with the Steering Committee session, where administrative updates, progress reports, and upcoming tasks were reviewed. Partners confirmed next steps and agreed on a clear roadmap for the remaining project period.
