
RurALL consortium meeting in Bystřice
From March 31st to April 2nd, 2025, partners of the RurALL project gathered in Bystřice, Czech Republic, for the third live consortium meeting. Hosted at the Bystřice Community Centre, the event brought together representatives from across Europe to collaborate and exchange insights.
The meeting kicked off with a networking dinner at Golf Resort Konopiště, setting the tone for two days of intensive workshops and site visits.
On the first working day, participants engaged in a series of focused workshops, including:
Community Engagement (led by PP2 ZSI and PP13 Institute PIP)
Comparative Analysis and Mapping Updates (led by MOBA and LP Beltinci)
RurALL Network Synergies and the New European Bauhaus (NEB) featuring Alenka Korenjak’s online session on adaptive reuse of heritage buildings
The afternoon featured an insightful site visit exploring the rural heritage potential of the pilot area, including guided tours of Benešov Brewery and Konopiště Chateau, showcasing local opportunities for cultural and community revitalization.
On the second working day, the programme continued with key strategic discussions:
Business Model Development (led by PP11 BICC Sandanski)
Multistakeholder Governance Models (led by PP12 EMFIE)
A case study presentation by Dr. Tijana Vujičić on revitalization efforts in Pecka, Bosnia and Herzegovina
The day concluded with a Steering Committee Meeting (SCOM) and bilateral consultations among partners and activity leaders.
Throughout the programme, the event emphasized collaboration, innovation, exchange of experience and knowledge and sustainable rural development, reinforcing the RurALL project's commitment to building resilient, liveable rural communities.
