Csongrád-Csanád County Directorate for Disaster Management

[p] The Csongrád-Csanád County Directorate for Disaster Management is a regional body of the National Directorate General for Disaster Management of the Ministry of the Interior, which acts as an authority in matters defined by law, performs the tasks defined by law, and manages professional fire brigades and disaster management branches in its area. [/p][p]In peacetime this organization coordinates the planning activities and the preparation. During a disaster the Directorate’s main task is to save lives: managing rescues activities, trying to reduce the consequencies of the event and providing the conditions for recovery. [/p][p]Other important task is to protecting the safety of life and property of the population, to protecting the national economy and the safe operation of critical infrastructure. [/p][p]Our organization basically processes a TMF-related, suspected incident. It presents the operational rescue tasks at municipal and county level under realistic conditions. It will also implement geographic information technology development to support the optimal response to similar incidents. The experience gained will be used to produce training material for the organisations involved in the rescue. [/p]
