The Csongrád-Csanád County Diretorate for Disaster Management event!
On 30 October 2024, our project partner, the Csongrád-Csanád County Directorate for Disaster Management, organized one of their key events – a joint meeting with representatives of the Police and the education sector.
The focus was clear: timely public awareness and preparedness can save lives. By understanding potential threats and knowing how to respond, communities become more resilient. A powerful method of spreading this knowledge is through schools – reaching adults via their children, alongside direct public outreach.
Building on a well-established collaboration with police and teachers at the county level, the meeting served as a round-table to discuss current capacities and possibilities for cooperation.
Following the event, the team began preparing new public information materials, which are now in production and expected to be published later this year.
We’re proud to see such proactive steps being taken to strengthen community resilience and emergency preparedness as part of our joint efforts!
