First Seminar and Study Visits Held within the Skills4Life Project

On 9–10 December 2025, the first seminar and study visits within the Skills4Life project took place in Vienna, Austria, hosted by the project partner IP Center, with the participation of all project partners.

The event included a series of thematic presentations on child protection policies and post-institutional support services in Austria, contributions from organizations supporting young people leaving the care system, working sessions focused on current challenges in the field, as well as study visits to relevant institutions.

The seminar provided an important platform for exchange of experience, coordination of approaches among partners, and the identification of common directions for developing solutions aimed at supporting the socio-economic integration of vulnerable young people in the Danube Region.

Participation in this international event marks a significant milestone in the implementation of the Skills4Life project and strengthens the partners’ shared commitment to developing effective and sustainable support mechanisms for young people transitioning out of the care system.
