Skills4Life Strengthens Cooperation through Capitalisation Activities with the COOPOWER Project

As part of the capitalisation activities carried out within the Skills4Life project, the South Muntenia Regional Development Agency (SMRDA), Lead Partner of the project, presented the Skills4Life Innovative Training Programme for Youth Empowerment during the online consortium meeting of the COOPOWER project, held on 7 July 2026. The initiative aimed to strengthen cooperation between the two Interreg Danube Region Programme projects and explore opportunities for transferring and reusing project results.

During the presentation, participants were introduced to the overall objectives of the Skills4Life project, which focuses on supporting the socio-economic integration of young people leaving child protection systems through innovative training, inclusive policies and pilot actions promoting labour market integration.

Special attention was given to the Skills4Life Innovative Training Programme, which includes 11 training modules covering essential life and employability skills, such as emotional resilience, communication, problem solving, financial literacy, digital skills, job preparation, independent living, legal rights and community participation. The presentation also showcased the project's learner-centred digital training platform, mentoring and counselling services, collaborative learning environment and role model gallery developed to support vulnerable young people.

Following the meeting, SMRDA shared the presentation with the COOPOWER partners and informed them that the Skills4Life training platform will be available in ten languages: English, Romanian, Czech, German, Ukrainian, Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian and Bulgarian. Consortium members interested in using the platform will be offered access in order to further promote the transfer and uptake of Skills4Life results.

The meeting confirmed the strong synergies between the two projects and represented another important step towards strengthening cooperation, exchanging knowledge and increasing the long-term impact of Interreg Danube Region Programme initiatives supporting vulnerable young people.
