Second Stakeholder Meeting organized in Romania
During period 2, all project partners are organizing stakeholder meetings in their respective countries as part of the activities of the Skills4Life Project, aimed at strengthening cooperation and promoting inclusive transition policies for young people leaving the child protection system.
In Romania, the national partners involved in the project engaged with relevant regional stakeholders through dedicated meetings. In this context, South Muntenia Regional Development Agency as project leader, hosted the second stakeholders meeting on February 26 at its headquarters in Călărași.

The event brought together over 30 representatives from local and regional public authorities, employment services, social assistance institutions, academia, civil society organizations, and the business sector in the South-Muntenia region.
During the meeting, participants were informed about the progress of the project and the results achieved so far, as well as the main activities currently being implemented. Special attention was given to the digital learning platform developed within the project, which will provide educational resources and training modules designed to support young people in developing the skills needed for their social and professional integration.

Discussions also addressed the current challenges faced by young people leaving the child protection system and highlighted the importance of cooperation between institutions, organizations, and the private sector in creating effective support mechanisms.
The meeting contributed to strengthening collaboration among regional stakeholders and to building a more coordinated approach to supporting vulnerable young people in their transition to independent life.
