A New Space for Innovation: Smart Lab Opens at Mihai Viteazul College
Mihai Viteazul College in Ineu, Romania, officially inaugurated its new Smart Lab in April 2026, creating a modern learning environment equipped with advanced digital technologies. The facility aims to encourage innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning while providing students and teachers with new opportunities to explore emerging technologies.
As part of the inauguration, practical demonstrations introduced students and teachers to the complete 3D printing workflow, from digital design to the production of physical objects. These sessions offered valuable insights into additive manufacturing and highlighted how modern technologies can be integrated into everyday education.
The new Smart Lab was designed to promote collaboration, problem-solving, and the development of essential digital and technical skills. By combining modern equipment with practical learning opportunities, the initiative supports innovative teaching approaches and helps prepare students for future technological challenges.
