Connecting Research and Education: TransAC at AM Connect 2026 in Slovenia
The TransAC project was represented at AM Connect 2026 in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia, an international conference bringing together nearly 80 participants from research, industry, and education to exchange knowledge and explore developments in additive manufacturing.
During the event, Sandra Schuling from Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) presented the TransAC project, highlighting its efforts to make additive manufacturing education more accessible and practice-oriented. The presentation focused on developing innovative training concepts, modern learning environments, and opportunities for skills development across different educational levels.
The conference also provided an opportunity to connect with industry experts, exchange ideas, and gather valuable input for future TransAC training activities. Organized within the Interreg SI-AT project ADDCIRCLES, the event demonstrated how European cooperation can strengthen innovation, knowledge exchange, and education in additive manufacturing.
