Engaging Students with Additive Manufacturing at Open Campus Night in Timisoara, Romania

As part of the TransAC project outreach activities, Politehnica University Timisoara (UPT) in Timisoara, Romania actively engaged students during the Open Campus Night held on October 4, 2025.

During the event, approximately forty students were introduced to the objectives of the TransAC project and its focus on additive manufacturing, modern engineering technologies, and innovation-driven education.

UPT continued its outreach efforts throughout the month by presenting the project to different student groups, including high school and gymnasium students, as well as engaging more than two hundred students during Career Days. These activities provided valuable opportunities to discuss career paths in engineering and advanced manufacturing.

Through initiatives like these, the TransAC project helps raise awareness about emerging technologies and encourages young learners to explore opportunities in engineering and digital manufacturing.
