Showcasing Additive Manufacturing at the Timiș County Student Council Meeting in Timișoara, Romania

In February 2026, Politehnica University Timișoara (UPT) in Timișoara, Romania, presented the TransAC project during a meeting of the Timiș County Student Council (CJE Timiș).

The event gathered high school student representatives from across the region and provided an opportunity to introduce participants to additive manufacturing technologies, digital design, and emerging engineering fields. During the session, the TransAC team highlighted the importance of advanced manufacturing skills and their growing role in modern industry.

Students also learned about educational and career opportunities in engineering, as well as the role of projects like TransAC in strengthening cooperation between universities, industry, and the wider community.
