CE Business Models Toolkit: Practical pathways for circular and digital transition

The WE.Circular project presents the CE Business Models Toolkit – a practical guide supporting women entrepreneurs, SMEs, mentors and business support organisations in applying circular economy business models with the help of digital solutions and smart technologies.

The toolkit introduces six circular business model pathways: Circular Design Accelerators, Resource Champions, Production Optimizers, Smart Digital Enablers, Market Educators and Collaborative Ecosystems. Each pathway offers a different starting point for companies that want to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, redesign products or services, strengthen customer engagement, introduce digital tools or build stronger partnerships.

The publication also includes a step-by-step implementation guide and practical worksheets that can be used in mentoring sessions, workshops or internal company planning. These tools help users diagnose their current business model, select the most relevant pathway, assess readiness, plan actions, map partners, define revenue streams and measure impact.

The toolkit is designed as an accessible resource for companies at different stages of circular and digital transition – from those taking their first steps to those ready to test, improve or scale circular practices.
