Serbia Concludes WE.Circular Activities with Final National Conference

The final national conference of the WE.Circular project in Serbia brought together women entrepreneurs, experts, project participants and members of the Association of Business Women in Serbia to reflect on the project’s achievements and discuss future opportunities for circular and sustainable business development.

During the event, the key results of WE.Circular were presented, highlighting the project’s contribution to strengthening women entrepreneurs’ capacity to apply circular economy principles, develop innovative business approaches and access practical support through the WE.Circular Labs and related activities.

The conference also featured contributions from Tijana Sekulić of AT Consulting, Miodrag Kostić from PR Poslovna znanja, Marija Ignjatović from Novitas Consult, and Aleksandra Rašović from Amelles Cosmetics, winner of the national WE.Circular Innovation Competition. Their perspectives demonstrated the growing interest in circular business models, sustainable innovation and practical solutions for women-led enterprises.

A special moment of the event was the recognition of the national WE.Circular Innovation Competition finalists, who received certificates from Olivera Popović, Vice President of the Association of Business Women in Serbia.

The conference marked an important national milestone for WE.Circular and provided an opportunity to celebrate the creativity, resilience and innovation of women entrepreneurs involved in the project. The knowledge, partnerships, tools and business support approaches developed through WE.Circular will continue to offer valuable resources for women-led businesses across the Danube Region and beyond.
