Connecting People and Ideas: WIN Partners Meet in Livno
The fourth WIN project partner meeting took place on 21–22 October 2025 in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina, hosted by our colleagues from MGK10 and ZZUP HBZ, in collaboration with the lead partner ZRC SAZU.
The meeting brought together all project partners to review the progress of the project, discuss results achieved so far, and exchange valuable feedback on upcoming activities. It was a productive and inspiring gathering that reaffirmed how far the partnership has come and how strongly the project resonates across regions.
Over two days, partners presented the outcomes of their work on social innovations, awareness-raising campaigns, and pilot actions in their local contexts. PiNA showcased the WIN pilot video and a ‘sociopoly’ game, currently in development, UniGRAZ led discussions on policy recommendations, and CTRIA introduced plans for the transnational conference.
Between the working sessions, we discovered the richness of Livno. We took part in a study visit exploring local initiatives and businesses in Livno, including Livno Dairy and the STUR.BA canoe and birdwatching project, linking WIN’s social and economic perspectives with community-based innovation.
The second day was dedicated to a transnational workshop using the World Café method, offering space for reflection, dialogue, and creative exchange among partners and local stakeholders.
Beyond the agenda, the meeting was also a celebration of collaboration, strengthened by the genuine hospitality, warmth, and openness of our hosts in Livno. Bosnia and Herzegovina reminded us that meaningful cooperation often happens not just in meetings, but around shared tables, stories, and experiences.
The two days reminded us why we do what we do. To learn from each other, to share stories, and to build spaces where ideas can grow into concrete action. The partnership left Livno motivated and ready to take the next steps towards improving the position of women in peripheral industrial regions.
