Project leader Jani Kozina presented the WIN project's work and results at the Women and Work since the Late Modern Period conference, which took place on 16-17 January 2025 in the ZRC Atrium.  Opening presentation of the conference in the ZRC Atrium
The conference aimed to present current research in labour history, women's history and gender studies, with a special focus on the forms, conditions and perceptions of work from a gender perspective. It allowed participants to engage in an interdisciplinary discussion on the political, legislative and broader social contexts that have influenced the development of women's labour markets since the mid-nineteenth century.

The conference was part of the research project History of Women's Work in the 19th and 20th Century in Slovenia (ARIS - J6-50190), which is a collaboration between the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana and the Institute for Cultural and Memory Studies of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences.
