Local Action Plans in Action - Sarajevo

The Municipality of Centar Sarajevo has finalised its Local Action Plan, setting out a practical roadmap for more coordinated, inclusive and evidence-based labour market governance. Building on the experience of the existing Local Employment Partnership, the LAP places particular emphasis on establishing and operationalising the Local Labour Market Forum (LLMF), strengthening cooperation between public institutions, employers, education and training providers, business-support organisations and civil society. Key priorities include better coordination of labour market services, improved employment pathways for vulnerable groups, stronger alignment of skills with employer needs, talent retention and support for growth-oriented entrepreneurship. The next phase will focus on implementing the planned actions, starting with stakeholder and service mapping and the further development of the LLMF as a permanent platform for joint planning, monitoring and action.
