Local Action Plans in Action - Uzhhorod

The Local Action Plan in Uzhhorod was developed with the involvement of local authorities, the employment service, educational institutions, employers, civil society organisations and young people. Its main priorities focus on supporting young people in the transition from education to employment, strengthening cooperation between labour market stakeholders, and improving employment opportunities for veterans, internally displaced persons and other vulnerable groups.

During the III Local Labour Market Forum in Uzhhorod, stakeholders discussed the proposed priorities, reviewed planned pilot activities and provided feedback on practical solutions.

The next stage focuses on testing concrete approaches together with the Uzhhorod Branch of the Zakarpattia Regional Employment Centre and other local partners. Two pilot activities have already been implemented: “From Idea to Your Own Business”, focused on entrepreneurship and available support opportunities, and “From CV to Interview: How to Successfully Find a Job”, focused on practical job-search and career skills.
