New Publication: Back on Track in the Yearbook „Weiterbildung sichtbar machen!“

The article written by ipcenter and ÖJAB highlightgs how virtual mobility empowers rural NEETs in the Danube region.

The TÜV AUSTRIA Academy, in cooperation with the Platform for Vocational Adult Education, publishes the annual yearbook “ Weiterbildung sichtbar machen!“ (Making Continuing Education Visible!). The current edition spans over 200 pages, featuring 24 contributions from experts in the fields of economics, education, and technology, examining professional education from diverse perspectives.

The Back on Track project is also featured in the yearbook with the article “More Opportunities through Virtual Mobility for NEETs in the Danube Region.” (Mehr Chancen durch Virtuelle Mobilität für NEETs in der Donauregion). Project managers Cornelia Kramsall (ipcenter) and Julia Probst (ÖJAB) provide valuable insights into the Interreg project and highlight the importance and challenges of reaching rural NEETs.

A key focus is promoting virtual mobility through access to digital resources, opening new pathways for education, training, and employment while strengthening young people’s digital skills in the Danube region. The authors emphasize that international cooperation is essential to create a more socially equitable and inclusive Danube Region – and the Back on Track project is making an important impact in this direction.

The inclusion of Back on Track in the renowned yearbook highlights how crucial the topic of virtual mobility is for creating new opportunities for NEETs in rural areas.

The yearbook was presented on October 23 at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy in Vienna and is available here: Weiterbildung sichtbar machen!
