3rd Partners meeting & Transnational workshop
The COMMHERITOUR third Partners meeting and Transnational workshop took place from 13th to 15th May 2025 in Budapest, Hungary, hosted by the Metropolitan University.
The third meeting provided space for training, collaboration, and exchange among project partners. Updates on project management and communication were shared, highlighting progress since the previous gathering in Mostar. A presentation from the EU Strategy for the Danube Region emphasized the role of culture, tourism, and people-to-people connections under Priority Area 3. The agenda included opportunities to explore synergies with other relevant projects, contributing to a broader exchange of ideas and good practices within the Danube Region. Over three engaging days, project partners immersed themselves in workshops, cultural experiences, and expert-led discussions. The first afternoon featured four parallel workshops on community engagement, branding for craftsmen and developers, creative industries and heritage collaboration, and improving accessibility through tourism and service design. Day two unfolded at the Hungarian Heritage House with a guided tour, insight into Hungary’s craft heritage system, and workshops on action planning and pilot initiatives. The final day included visits to the National Museum Restoration and Storage Centre and the Museum of Ethnography, exploring preservation techniques and heritage cataloguing.
