Workshops Summary from First Year Review Meeting

During the First Year Review Meeting, several workshops were conducted with project partners to discuss key project elements.

SO1 Workshop on Peer Exchange: A workshop on February 11, 2025, aimed to establish a tool for planning peer-to-peer exchanges among Geoparks. An Excel tool was developed and tested during the session, focusing on budget limitations and managing vulnerable group data. It was shared with partners for practical use, and plans were made for student exchanges between TUKE and CTMK.

SO2 Workshop on Project Progress: On February 12, 2025, partners reviewed the progress in pilot actions and discussed updates to the self-evaluation form. Capacity-building activities were emphasized, particularly involving vulnerable groups. Additionally, plans for upcoming marketing campaigns were discussed.

SO3 Workshop on Visitor Monitoring: Also on February 12, 2025, this workshop focused on visitor monitoring and management, including decision-making processes and cooperation with vulnerable groups. Each partner presented their data plans and engagement strategies. The SO3 lead will compile these insights for enhanced collaboration.

These workshops were instrumental in promoting collaboration and setting the stage for future project activities. Beside workshops we did some sightseeing in Austria.
