Local Dissemination Event on 20 October 2026 in Zagreb

The Croatian Wood Cluster (CWC), Project Partner 9 (PP9) in the DECORATOR project, organised a Local Dissemination Event on 20 October 2026 at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb. The event was held as part of the Croatian Wood Cluster's General Assembly and aimed to present the project's results, the DECORATOR Model and solutions developed through five pilot actions to stakeholders from the Croatian wood industry and related sectors.

Participants were introduced to solutions covering the Beyond Wood Database, innovative eco-business models for the construction value chain, digitalisation in the construction sector, greener approaches to the use of existing building spaces, and new visions of buildings through artistic interventions.

The event provided an opportunity to discuss the potential application of the project results in the Croatian context, particularly in promoting sustainable and circular approaches to construction. Special attention was given to New European Bauhaus (NEB) values and Cradle to Cradle (C2C) principles, highlighting the importance of sustainable bio-based materials, circular design and more efficient use of existing building spaces.

By presenting the project's solutions, the Croatian Wood Cluster contributed to raising awareness among local stakeholders and encouraging further consideration of circular economy principles in the wood and construction sectors.
