HOW OUR PARTNERS ARE DRIVING CHANGE ACROSS THEIR REGIONS: “PROJECT PARTNERS’ AIMS IN THE ELEVATE PROJECT”

Across Europe, 17 project partners are planning on implementing pilot actions to strengthen social inclusion, support older people and foster intergenerational cooperation. Each region is planning on testing innovative approaches – from improved volunteer systems and accessible public spaces to new financial models and community-based services. Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia (DCHS), Slovenia: as the lead partner manages the entire project, coordinates all partners and implements a pilot action in three municipalities in the Heart of Slovenia area, aimed at improving the volunteer support system for older people in  Šmartno pri Litiji, Lukovica in Litija - "Points for elderly".

Municipality of Sevnica, Slovenia: as a pilot area, will test the ELEVATE model by planning a sensory park for vulnerable groups, thereby improving the accessibility of public spaces and promoting functional inclusion of all residents.

ISG, Amabilis, Slovenia: this organisation, specialised in the well-being of people with dementia, acts as a horizontal partner and will provide all pilot areas with expertise on the social inclusion of older people, especially those living with dementia.

Osijek-Baranja County (OBŽ), Croatia: will improve the quality of life for older people in rural areas by ensuring accessible services through a mobility system and additional activities such as lifelong learning.

Zagreb Innovation Centre (ZICER), Croatia: a leading incubator and accelerator, will contribute its expertise in business sector involvement, alternative financing mechanisms and social innovation.

Municipality of Irig, Serbia: in its pilot action, will promote active ageing within its area, by establishing a senior business club, which will also serve as an intergenerational hub and create new employment opportunities.

City of Cazin, Bosnia and Herzegovina: the City of Cazin will focus its pilot action on strengthening social security support for marginalised groups in rural areas and on increasing the capacity of social welfare institutions.

Chamber of Commerce of Una-Sana Canton (PKUSK), Bosnia and Herzegovina: as a horizontal partner, will facilitate connections with the private sector, provide advice on financial mechanisms and support the involvement of businesses in developing inclusive solutions.

Táj-Kapocs Foundation, Hungary: as an NGO, focused on rural development, will lead a pilot action in the Marcal Valley to strengthen institutional cooperation, promote intergenerational collaboration and revitalise rural areas.

Ideas Factory Association, Bulgaria: using its award-winning "Baba Residence" programme will lead a pilot action in Northwest Bulgaria to establish functional structures and social networks between generations through volunteer-driven activities.

General Directorate for Social Assistance and Child Protection – Sector 6 (DGASPC Sector 6), Romania: will test a model in Bucharest for providing effective social services to vulnerable groups and securing appropriate funding through intergenerational support centres.

Urbasofia, Romania: as an urban planning company, will act as a horizontal partner by leading the development of the project methodology and supporting all partners with expertise in participatory planning and universal design.

Banská Bystrica Self-Governing Region (BBSK), Slovakia: will lead the testing activities of the ELEVATE model and develop a sustainable financial plan for social services in its pilot, focusing on improving the funding framework for elderly care centres.

Registered Association Kozodoj, Czech Republic: as non-profit organisation uses hippotherapy as a tool for social inclusion and will develop therapeutic services in the Karlovy Vary region to address barriers faced by socially and medically vulnerable individuals.

CoWorkLand eG, Germany: as cooperative, which develops rural co-working spaces, will design a sustainable business model for multifunctional rural co-working centres in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, helping older people stay longer in their home environment.

Institute for Virtual and F2F Learning in Adult Education (ILEU) e.V., Germany: will, as a horizontal partner and leader of the "Danube-Networkers", contribute its expertise in lifelong learning, intergenerational dialogue and ensure the quality of project results from the perspective of older people’s needs.

General Directorate for Medical and Social Assistance of the Chisinau Municipal Council (DGAMS), Moldova: as public authority will use its pilot in the rural areas of Chisinau to improve residents' quality of life and explore new financing models for social inclusion programmes through partnerships with the private sector.
