First Year Review in Budapest
On 27. 04. 2026, the InDiMaND Project First Year Review took place in Budapest, bringing together project partners and representatives of the Danube Region Programme to evaluate the progress achieved during the first implementation period and discuss the next steps of the project.
The meeting provided an important opportunity for partners to present the status of ongoing activities, exchange practical experiences, and review both the technical and financial implementation of the project. During the sessions, participants discussed the achievements and challenges encountered so far, while also identifying priorities and future directions for the upcoming project period.
Special attention was given to the development of joint disaster preparedness and response solutions, cross-border cooperation, stakeholder involvement, and communication activities. Partners shared insights from their local and transnational activities, workshops, and stakeholder engagement efforts carried out in their respective countries.
Representatives of the Danube Region Programme Joint Secretariat also participated in the review meeting, providing valuable professional feedback, recommendations, and guidance to support the successful continuation of the project.
The event once again highlighted the importance of international cooperation in disaster management. Effective preparedness and coordinated response mechanisms can only be achieved through strong partnerships, continuous knowledge sharing, and active collaboration between institutions, experts, volunteers, and local communities.
The InDiMaND project continues to strengthen cooperation across the Danube Region with the common goal of creating safer, more resilient, and better prepared communities for future emergencies and disasters.
