On June 3, 2025, AGRRA representatives Ivica Pintur, Director, and Matej Mikulić, Project Manager of the Mystical Danube project, attended the Inclusive Tourism Conference held at Terme Vivat in Moravske Toplice, Slovenia. This event was organized by the Iskriva team in collaboration with various partners.

The conference brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including national, regional, and local tourism organizations, municipalities, ministries, tourism service providers, NGOs, and educational organizations.

Key discussions focused on several important themes, including: The role of tourism as a catalyst for achieving the EU’s Green and Just Transition goals, Investment opportunities in accessible and inclusive tourism within both the public and private sectors, The value of authentic and local experiences in enhancing inclusive tourism for both local services and international guests and A collaborative vision for rural tourism in the Danube region aimed at improving service quality and enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.

Three engaging panels were featured during the conference: Panel 1: Tourism Investment for Locals and Visitors, Panel 2: How to Develop and Sell the Danube Region as an Inclusive and Regenerative Destination, Panel 3: Innovation and Knowledge for Inclusive Tourism – Best International Practices.

Matej Mikulić participated as a panelist in the first session, where he presented an overview of AGRRA, discussed the achievements and challenges of the previous CCI4TOURISM project, and introduced the current Mystical Danube project.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Iskriva team for their inclusion of AGRRA in this important event and for the opportunity to showcase the valuable work being done within our organization!
