Mystical Danube Partners and Steering Committee Meeting held in Budapest
The MYSTICAL DANUBE Partners and Steering Committee meeting took place on February 26-27, 2025, in Budapest, with CEEweb hosting the event. All project partners gathered to discuss the project's progress, challenges, and future steps.
The meeting opened with welcoming remarks from the Lead Partner, the Danube Programme Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat, and CEEweb, setting the stage for productive discussions. A general presentation provided an overview of the project’s current status, highlighting progress made, existing delays, and challenges faced in implementation. The Lead Partner AGRRA also presented a financial overview, ensuring transparency and alignment among all partners.
Each project partner had the opportunity to share their experiences, achievements, and insights, fostering collaboration and the exchange of best practices. The Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat provided valuable input on follow-up actions and the next steps to ensure smooth project implementation. The discussions culminated in a Steering Committee meeting, where all partners actively contributed to shaping the project’s next phases.
On the second day, Associated Strategic Partners and relevant stakeholders joined the discussions, focusing on developing the Strategy for the Valorisation of Natural and Intangible Cultural Heritage in Rural, Less Visited Areas.
Thank you to all participants for their engagement and contributions to the MYSTICAL DANUBE project! We look forward to continuing our journey together to protect and enhance the unique natural and cultural heritage of the Danube region.
This project is supported by the Interreg Danube Region Programme co-funded by the European Union.
