National Networking and Expert Meeting in the Czech Republic
The national stakeholder meeting, organised by the Archaeological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences at the Visitor Centre Mušov, brought together regional representatives, municipalities, experts, interest groups, local businesses and other partners to discuss the ROMAN LEGACY project and its synergy project Roman Trails (Interreg AT-CZ).
The programme included an introduction to both projects, a presentation on the archaeological traces of the Romans in the region, insights into a successful Cultural Route in the area, and an overview of cultural heritage and tourism in South Moravia. Participants also learned about opportunities the projects offer to local partners and how they can take part. The event ended with a joint discussion on future cooperation and the next steps for developing Roman heritage in the region.
