ROMAN LEGACY at the International Danube Festival in Ulm

At the beginning of July, ROMAN LEGACY took part in the International Danube Festival in Ulm and Neu-Ulm. The project was presented by the project partners from the BLfD, the Bayerisches Landesamt für Denkmalpflege (Bavarian State Conservation Office), together with the key partners of the Experience the Danube Limes World Heritage museum network, represented by a member of the Regensburg History Museum at the festival. The organizer of the festival was our associated strategic partner Donaubüro Ulm/Neu-Ulm GmbH.

During two days, we presented and discussed the diversity of the Danube Limes UNESCO World Heritage at our information desk both with visitors as well as with other exhibitors from different cities and themes! Our leaflets and brochures on the Roman Limes, the museum network and the work of the BLfD were very well received and sparked some interesting conversations.

It was also a pleasure for us to get in touch with the local people and visiting guests of the festival as well as with several other EU-projects that took the opportunity to present their projects and network at the International Danube Festival!

We were delighted to have the opportunity to present the Roman Danube Limes near the river’s source!
